RIM to license BB10 to Samsung and HTC

This week at CES 2012 in Las Vegas probably will not see the announcement of new BlackBerry smartphones in the range by Research In Motion, now needed to stem the declining popularity recorded by the Canadian company in recent months. While waiting for new smartphones, RIM may still carry the BlackBerry operating system at CES 10, on which the new terminals will be based. The analyst Peter Misek of Jefferies & Co. says that the BlackBerry 10 will be used by HTC and Samsung, with a license agreement with the appointment of new chief executive, Barbara Stymiest, could revive the fortunes of Research In Motion.
