Sony Ericsson launches Xperia Studio, an online entertainment platform for artists and designers, who want to create and share their most innovative contributions. The initiative reflects a continued commitment by Sony Ericsson in engaging users through the entertaining qualities and to offer new ways of using their Xperia smartphones.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Studio invites creative artists and intellectuals, the exponents of the art collaborative Danish astrophysicists to New York to push the range of Xperia smartphones to the absolute limits of its potential to ‘create reality’. The content on the platform will be updated periodically by the increasing number of employees.
The first phase of the project has attracted collaborators from around the world who have used the Xperia smartphone to create content unconventional and interesting a flash of the camera as a flamethrower, a look at the universe with the naked eye, the picture of the wave perfect music that recalls the atmosphere of Paris and the recent record of extreme adventures of a team of BMX in Brooklyn. Each project was video-documented and is visible on the platform Xperia Studio.
The project shows how Sony Ericsson has always been an innovative company, committed to bringing the boundaries between entertainment, technology and communication. Employees involved in the first part of the project Xperia Studio are:
