As previously did Steve Ballmer, now also the CEO of Nokia, Stephen Elop, goes against the Android operating system, OSE Google increasing controversy, instead of looking after their own performance and results. In a recent interview, Elop said that the customization of Android, and its freedom, is a weak point of the latter. Obviously those who have always chosen Android can not they make laughing on statements made by Nokia CEO, comments, and seem to only words of those who are afraid of the power of the green robot.
Here are the declarations of Stephen Elop on the Android operating system and customizing it:
“Windows Phone does not consent to the graphical Sense or to any other, I would say that one of the biggest challenges it faces (Android) is the fact that there are gradually more and more. And when I go into a store and try what that label should be, really do not see it – it is not clear what the standard user experience”
What underlines Mr. Elop, and we all know for a long time, is the inability to identify the Android system with a specific and definitive user interface for all devices, as is the case for devices antagonists.
We know that there are various Samsung TouchWiz, HTC Sense and many others, that help us distinguish between different manufacturers, but not the Android system, other systems, and other sore spot, according to Nokia’s CEO, would not have even a single interface for each new release, for example, ICS has a UI different from that of Gingerbread or Honeycomb.
Also according to Elop differences that highlight other operating systems would be just that, leaving the new mean life and the change does not do well in the success of an OS.
These statements will only elicit comments that go against the thought of Elop, because users who have already chosen Android and that, knowing him, have approved the change and the freedom of the GUI can not do anything but support the changes and go against IOS, Windows Phone, Symbian, and so on.
Perhaps the success of Android is also given to this aspect criticized by many competitors, perhaps out of fear or perhaps out of pure constructive criticism at all. The possibility to choose different devices running Android, and perhaps with an interface that makes it seem all the same device has been very successful and so criticized by all.
