At Nokia World in London yesterday was announced the integration of Qualcomm Snapdragon processor S2 in the first Nokia smartphone Lumia, Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710. This marks the beginning of two important partnerships: the entry of the Nokia ecosystem of Windows Phone and the long-awaited partnership between Qualcomm and Nokia. Through this agreement, Qualcomm processors continue to support all of the devices based on Windows Phone.
We are very pleased to see the result after only six months of the synergy of these two strong teams to market new smartphone with Snapdragon processors. Snapdragon and the completeness of the deep integration between the processor and Windows Phone 7 allow you to live with their smartphone experience unique, a result achieved in the development time records for Nokia, said Enrico Salvatori, senior vice president and president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Europe.
