Motorola Xoom Announced an Economic ‘Family Edition’

Motorola has launched this weekend in the United States, a Family Edition of the Motorola Xoom tablet, addressed specifically to the families and, in particular, children. The Motorola Xoom Family Edition lacks 3G support and connectivity must therefore rely on the presence of a Wi-Fi. This particular version of the tablet also has only 16GB of internal memory.

In terms of software suite, the Motorola Xoom Family Edition differs in a very rich software bundle, which includes applications such as games and Zoodles, Kid Mode, MotoPrint, MotoPack, Quickoffice, Asphalt 6 deluxe and SIM City. In the U.S., the Motorola Xoom Family Edition retails for $ 379, about 270 euros at current exchange rates.
