Vodafone Intends to Buy Research In Motion?

Vodafone could announce soon an agreement for the takeover of Research In Motion, the Canadian maker of BlackBerry smartphones in the range cornered by the success of the iPhone and Android.

Research In Motion in recent quarters has incurred huge losses and its presence on the mobile phone market will become increasingly smaller. Even less encouraging results obtained with the tablet BlackBerry Playbook, so as to have fueled rumors of a possible withdrawal from the market. To revive the fortunes of the company, as well as the entry of new members, could be the new BlackBerry smartphone with QNX operating system, despite the skepticism shown by some analysts.
