Sony Ericsson : Windows Mobile is Not as Good as Android

Sony Ericsson has once duchaus released some Windows Mobile smartphones. Meanwhile, one has prescribed but fully Android and smartphones of the company are based on Android. Windows Mobile is seen for the moment not as an alternative. Now Sony Ericsson’s CEO Bert Norberg has once again very clearly distanced from Windows Mobile. You can see it currently is not on par with Android:

At this point I would not feel comfortable investing in a platform that is not as good as the one that we currently use. Therefore we have remained with Android, but I am quite curious about Windows Mobile.

Sony Ericsson currently has a market share of 11 percent in the Android Market. This puts it behind a piece of his own hopes. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal Norberg admits that he had hoped for much more – all the way to market leadership in the Android Market. For the low market share makes it especially the expandable responsible position in North America.
