Samsung Will Pay Microsoft For Any Android Smartphones Sold

Samsung has finally reached an agreement with Microsoft, the company agreeing to pay a contribution for each U.S. Android smartphones sold under a number of patents at the base of the operating system from Google. Already dubbed the ‘Microsoft Tax’, according to analysts will have a contribution of about $ 10 for each Android phone from Samsung, and probably something more for the tablet.

Apparently Samsung is able to obtain more favorable terms from Microsoft rival those of HTC (something like 20-40 dollars for smartphones), compared to the promise of a greater commitment in the future for smartphones running Windows Phone . After HTC and Samsung, other companies will be forced to submit to the ‘Microsoft Tax’, inevitably destined to make the production of Android smartphone business less profitable.
