HP has announced to bring no other devices on the market with webOS is brewing in the rumor mill. First there were rumors that Samsung may take over webOS. This was however denied by Samsung relatively quickly. Now make the next round of rumors. First it was Intel would say goodbye to MeeGo, which was then denied it. Previously but was still interested in Samsung rumored Meego. After Intel, Nokia has lost a partner, perhaps a new partner would be useful. However, Intel seems to be the way to go in other directions now. Months ago was to hear that adapts to its own Android Intel processors. So that would then come Android tablet with an Intel processor on the market. Here was also really slow with releases expected, but apparently it is now well advanced here is not so real. In addition, you will probably want to present and processors for Windows Mobile. Intel seems so real the way into the tablet and smartphone world to create but not yet.
But back to Samsung – is from the perspective of an Android fan, of course, especially the question of which way to go Samsung in the future. So far it has Bada smartphones, Windows Mobile and Android brought out. Windows Mobile plays but only a very small role. Bada is exciting for Samsung as a particularly self-development. By far the most important, however, the Android smartphones. That proves you also impressive with all the ideas of the past few weeks. Now there is speculation that Samsung wants to go in the face of Motorola’s acquisition by Google new ways. Man allegedly afraid to be only second-class partners. That is, this is troubling is quite understandable. After all, one might also suspect that Samsung is especially concerned because of the close collaboration between Microsoft and Nokia only marginally with Windows Mobile. If, however, casts a glance at the sales of Windows Mobile devices, it might be rather surprising if we would deal still so intense.
Pretty sure Samsung will continue to monitor the further working with Google very closely, just like you “jealous” observe whether Motorola will be preferred. Google would be well advised to be particularly intense to worry now about all the other manufacturers. Samsung is currently little other choice than Android to remain faithful. It is the system with which one has won to itself even the greatest sales successes. And did we mention the various patent lawsuits. Would it really advisable to go here a completely different way. After all, is after the Motorola acquisition hopes to help more shooters by Google.
So in order to bring it to the point: For the moment, I give little credence to the many rumors. Samsung certainly has a backup plan for contingencies, but would like to convert only one who makes Google key error. That being said, I have great doubts that Samsung would be successful in this way.
