HTC Plans 6/8 New Devices This Year With Android

New devices will be arriving this year, as announced by the Taiwanese company HTC. In number between 6 and 8, the new tablets and smartphones will hit the market as stated during the presentation of financial results for the second quarter. Positive financial results, with 4.31 billion dollars in revenue thanks to 12.1 million units shipped – an increase of 123.7% over the same period last year and 24.8% over the previous quarter. HTC did not want to specify which platform has contributed most to the result, nor how much is due to the tablet and how much to smart phones. The company has declined to comment on this, but it is reasonable to expect that most sales force residing in Android.

HTC would not release details on new devices, avoiding also specify the operating systems involved.
