Starting today Google has released an update to the Gmail application that from February to now had not seen any change. The update brings a host of new and bug fixes as:

* Save money by only upgrading the network and battery priority mail
* Use labels and filters
* Improved Performance
* Improved support for accessibility TrackBack
* Remember the “Show Pictures” to the sender

Gmail is preinstalled on all Android devices, if you do not find the notification just go in and click on My Market Applications.
