The long wait has finally come to an end, Acer has in fact confirmed this week plans to launch during the next month the new tablet Iconia Tab A100 announced in February.

On the U.S. market ‘Acer Iconia Tab A100 will be sold at a figure of just over 200 euros, a great price for a tablet with Android Tegra chip 2 (but with only 512MB of RAM and 8GB of flash memory). The reasons for the delay are now clear of the launch, Acer has had to wait for the release of Android 3.2 for developing the software of ‘Iconia Tab A100 and have a user interface optimized for the 7-inch display.
