It looks like Barnes & Noble’s Nook is going to get off to a flying start in the e-reader business, so much so that the company has already begun telling new customers not to expect delivery on the device (which will be released soon) until the 2nd week of December.

Customers who pre-ordered should expect shipment by the end of November, and if you’re placing a pre-order now, expect it to ship around December 11th or so. Looks like Amazon’s Kindle is up for a tough fight.
