Next Month Nikon D3s with 1080p video Ready

This sort of burst out of nowhere today, but word is that a new Nikon D3s will hit on October 15 the crew at Nikon Rumors puts it at "99 percent probability." The D3s is expected to add 1080p video and an 14fps burst mode to the D3, as well as a 1.6x crop mode, but other than that we don't know too much. Well well, turns out rumors sometimes do come true. The widely speculated end to O2's exclusivity of the iPhone is now upon us and Orange is the first competitor to throw its hat into the ring. The company has not yet released tariff pricing, but there's a tantalizingly small release window, as availability is promised "later this year." iTunes Disappear From Palm Pre

Apple and Palm have been playing a rather intriguing game of cat and mouse with iTunes and the Pre. The latest update indicates Apple has got a slight edge over Palm, especially since Palm was served a letter from the USB Implementers Forum, a group that oversees the standards for USB connections. Palm Pre confirmed for Verizon?

We were already pretty sure that reports that Verizon was passing on the Palm Pre were unwarranted, but the rumors just keep coming. Now BGR is reporting that it's confirmed albeit through an unnamed source that the carrier will in fact land the device. It's all starting to seem like a non-starter of a story at this point, considering we sort of already knew the Pre was probably going to Verizon, but at least now we're less unsure that it's not not on its way, right?...
