Word is going around that Apple plans to roll out new iMacs and MacBooks in the coming weeks in order to spruce up its lineup before the frenzied holiday season rolls around, although with the current economic climate we could be looking at less-than-stellar sales as people continue to remain cautious with their spending.

Said rumors claim that the new iMacs will be thinner than ever with smooth edges, although the MacBook refresh is tipped to be “limited” – does that mean a larger hard drive and that’s that?
